Hi everyone, I’m Celina, Cheerio’s most trusted caretaker. Those of you who know me know I have a hard time asking for help, but I really need it this time. Jared (her most favorite man) and I took her to the emergency vet yesterday after I came home from work and saw her pupils were way too big for way too long and her breathing was rapid and shallow. We hoped it would be a simple diagnosis, but Cheerio always likes to be a little weirdo and the doctors are having trouble figuring out what’s going wrong.

She had to spend the night on oxygen and she’s still receiving more tests. At first they thought it could be an issue with her lungs, but the X-Ray showed them to be clear. It’s looking more like it may be an issue with her heart or blood clots, but they need to do more diagnostics. We’re still waiting to hear more news.

This cat helped pull me out of some of my darkest moments with her quirky personality and her good dust smell in her soft fur. I’m doing everything I can to return the favor. With our move to San Diego coming up, it’s putting a lot of financial strain on me and Jared and as time goes on, the bills promise to get higher.

If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Cheerio, you know she’s sassy, classy, and the funniest little cat. If she’s ever brought a smile to your face, please keep her in your thoughts and consider helping. Any little thing means the world to me. I appreciate anyone who has even taken the time to read this and I understand that times are hard, so even if you can just share Cheerio with someone, that would help.

I’ll keep you updated as best as I can. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
