Hello, this is my girl Callie (Calcifer for long). Right now, she is in need of surgery to clear her intestinal tract of quite a large obstruction. The quote we have gotten for everything so far is in the ballpark of $8,000, which is something that, like many families, we just don’t have at any given time.

Our sweet Callie came to us not long after I gave birth to my baby girl - Callie is just one week older. They are both just under a year old now. She and my baby are inseparable; Callie is so patient and loving, even with us teaching our child gentle hands. She stayed with me through nursing and pumping, often making biscuits and comforting me. She is in every little thing we do here. We need her as much as she needs us.
