Jasmine Albuquerque, Fire Recovery Fund
Spende geschützt
Our beloved Jasmine Albuquerque just lost her home in the Woolsey fires, and The Sweat Spot community wants to help!
Jasmine has been with The Sweat Spot since day one as a dancer, teacher and choreographer. She has been a friend and inspiration to so many, in our community and beyond, and her Thursday night class PULSE is a staple of our schedule.
We are so sad to share that Jasmine and her family lost their home of over 30 years to the Woolsey fires on November 9th, including all of her personal belongings. Jasmine is eight months pregnant and is now without a place to live. It is a monumental loss and our hearts are aching for her.
So... we are raising funds to help Jasmine find a safe and peaceful place to stay for the next six months with her newborn. She'll also need clothing and personal items for herself and the baby. Please help us raise $30,000 to ease this difficult time and show her how much we love and appreciate her!
The Woolsey fires have affected so many Angelenos, not to mention destroying and displacing so much wildlife-- it is truly hard to witness so much devastation and not feel completely powerless. So here is a small opportunity to help someone personally affected by this tragedy. Please give what you can, and if you can't donate at this time, we would love your help spreading the word!
Sending love to everyone affected by these devastating fires. Thank you.
