Help Swae Stand Tall: Fighting Severe Scoliosis
Donation protected

Meet Swae Quarrell, a vibrant 14-year-old with dreams and aspirations like any teenager. However, Swae's journey has taken an unexpected turn due to a severe scoliosis diagnosis that threatens not just her posture, but her very livelihood.
Swae's scoliosis is not just a curve in her spine; it's a life-altering condition with a 71-degree curvature that's impacting her internal organs' growth and function, leading to chronic pain and potential long-term health issues.
At Swae's age, her body is in a critical growth phase, making timely intervention crucial. Unfortunately, the window for effective surgical correction is rapidly closing as she continues to grow. Delaying surgery could mean missing the chance to significantly improve her condition and quality of life.
Despite the clear need for immediate action, Swae's family faces a daunting hurdle: the cost of surgery. Their current health cover falls short, and upgrading it comes with a 12-month waiting period—a delay Swae cannot afford. With the surgery scheduled for March, the race against time is on, and the price tag is over $70,000.
We, Swae's family and friends, are reaching out to the kindness of strangers, the community's heart, and anyone moved by Swae's plight. Your support can lift the financial burden that bars Swae from the surgery she urgently needs.
How You Can Help:
- Donate: Every contribution, no matter the size, brings Swae one step closer to standing tall.
- Share: Spread the word on social media, within your community, and beyond. Awareness is powerful.
- Send Love: Words of encouragement for Swae and her family are invaluable during this challenging time.
Swae's spirit remains unbroken, but her body needs our collective strength. Together, we can change the course of her story from one of struggle to one of triumph. Let's help Swae stand tall, not just in stature, but in spirit and health.
