Dear Sweetwater Valley Little League Community and Beyond,

They did it — our boys are headed to the Little League World Series!

Our 2026 Sweetwater Valley Little League 12U All-Star team has spent the summer battling through tournament after tournament, competing against some of the best Little League teams in Southern California and across the West. After an incredible run, they are officially West Region Champions and have earned the honor of representing not only Sweetwater Valley Little League and our community, but the entire West Region at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania!

This historic achievement is a testament to the dedication, teamwork, perseverance, and heart these young athletes have shown all summer, along with the unwavering support of their families and coaches. Countless hours of practices, games, travel, and sacrifice have led them to the biggest stage in Little League Baseball, and we could not be more proud of the way they have represented SVLL and our community throughout this journey.

While advancing to the Little League World Series is an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, it also means this journey continues for our families. With the team now traveling across the country to Pennsylvania and potentially being away from home for up to two weeks, families will continue to incur significant expenses associated with supporting their players. These may include airfare and other transportation, lodging, rental cars, meals, and additional travel-related costs throughout their time in Williamsport.

The funds raised through this campaign will be distributed directly to the families of the players on our 2026 12U All-Star team to help offset these expenses. Our goal remains the same: to allow our families to be there to support their children during this extraordinary experience without the added burden of significant financial stress.

If you are able, we kindly ask you to consider making a donation to support these families as they follow their boys from Bonita all the way to Williamsport. Every contribution, no matter the size, is sincerely appreciated. Sharing this fundraiser with friends, family, local businesses, and our greater San Diego community is another tremendous way to support these families and help us celebrate what these boys have accomplished.

Please note that this fundraiser is intended solely to support the travel expenses of the families of the players on this team. Donations are not tax-deductible, as funds are not being raised on behalf of Sweetwater Valley Little League or the players themselves. Should funds remain after all family travel expenses have been reimbursed in a fiscally responsible manner, any remaining balance will be donated by the families to Sweetwater Valley Little League to support future player opportunities.

What began as a summer of baseball has become something these boys, their families, and our entire community will remember forever.

They will now step onto the fields in Williamsport carrying Sweetwater Valley, Bonita, Southern California, and the entire West Region with them.

The love and support our community has shown this team has been incredible, and we cannot wait to watch our boys represent the West on the biggest stage in Little League Baseball.
