Help Sven Represent Venezuela at The World Games!

Hi, my name is Sven Alvarado. I’m a 22-year-old 2nd Dan Aikido black belt and Assistant Instructor (Fukushidoin) with over 12 years of dedication to this beautiful martial art.

From August 7th to 17th, I will have the honor of representing Venezuela at the prestigious World Games Exhibition Program in Chengdu, China. I am proud to be the first Venezuelan aikidoka and one of the youngest black belts selected for this event—a moment of personal pride and national significance.

However, this dream comes with real-world costs: visa fees, airfare, lodging, food, and official accreditation. Unfortunately, I don't have the resources to cover these expenses, and that’s why I’m turning to you—family, friends, and supporters of martial arts and cultural representation—to help make this journey possible.

✨ Why This Matters

The World Games, supported by the International Olympic Committee, highlight top athletes from sports not featured in the Olympics. Aikido, a non-competitive discipline rooted in harmony and discipline, has been part of Exhibition Program on five (5) editions of these games (1993, 1997, 2001, 2005, 2022). Participating in The World Games is not only an honor for me, but a chance to elevate Venezuelan Aikido on a global stage.

In 2023, I had the privilege to perform at the World Combat Games in Riyadh, a milestone that deepened my commitment to Aikido and to inspiring the next generation of Venezuelan practitioners.

Now, this opportunity in Chengdu 2025 is a powerful next step—not just for my personal growth, but for the future visibility of Aikido in our country.

Why I'm Not the Organizer:

Due to banking restrictions in Venezuela, I’m unable to receive the funds directly. That's why my aunt, Fabiola Outeda, is organizing this campaign and will personally transfer the funds to me to ensure every cent supports this opportunity.
