My sister Susan (Suzy to most of you) is one of the strongest people I know. She's dedicated most of her life helping others and even made it her profession. Earlier this year, she was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, and everything changed overnight. The good news is she’s eligible for a liver transplant this Fall, which gives us hope (real hope) but the road between now and then (and beyond) has been and will be challenging. Suzy has to get to her medical appointments, while managing symptoms that make everyday life exhausting. I’m raising money for her to help fund additional costs and ease the financial strain while she focuses on her health. Me and her partner Andre are doing everything we can to help her but we’ve reached the point where we need further assistance.

The funds from this GoFundMe will go directly toward keeping Suzy stable and supported until her transplant. This includes rides to her appointments, essential medical equipment, and the everyday expenses that can become overwhelming.
