Help Suzy get a disability bike!❤️
Hi everyone! I am fundraising to try and get my auntie Suzy a disability bike.
Over lockdown, Suzy’s support has been significantly reduced and my granny is now her full time carer at home. Suzie has spent over a year in the house due to losing her care package of 35 hours PW.
Suzy has just turned 22 years old and she has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, she is non verbal and needs 24/7 care.
Today I took Suzy out on the bike and this was her 3rd time ever. As you can see she loves the bike and gets so much enjoyment out of it. It would be amazing to get her a bike as she lives next to a cycle path and it would get her out of the house!
The photos show Suzy pictured on the rental bike from “let’s get biking Dumfries and Galloway”. Let’s get biking D&G is a voluntary charity which have various bikes available to rent for people with disabilities in Dumfries.
