Unfortunately, this disease has completely immobilized her to the point of not being able to leave her home. Worse, she has not been able to get out of her bed for 4 months.
Suzy needs a special wheelchair that she is able to get in and out of with ease. A regular wheelchair was purchased months ago. However, she is no longer able get in the chair due to her limited physical mobility. This wheelchair is customized to fit her special needs as an ALS patient. Insurance recently denied her claim for the wheelchair.
Our hope is to raise enough funds to cover most, if not all, of this wheelchair’s cost. The chair will allow Suzy the freedom of leaving her house again and for her to be able to enjoy life to the fullest. If you know her, you know Suzy is the best at enjoying life.
