My name is Suzie, and I’m raising funds for urgent spinal surgery that I need to regain my mobility and quality of life. I have six herniated discs from L1 to S1, with the lower two putting intense pressure on the nerves running down both of my legs. This has left me unable to work or walk without constant pain, and every day has become a struggle just to get through basic activities. My surgery is scheduled for September 15th, and I’ll be undergoing two laminectomies—one on each side of my spine. The sooner I can get this procedure, the better my chances for a full recovery and relief from the pain that has taken over my life.
The funds raised will help cover the cost of the surgery, hospital stays, and the travel expenses for driving an hour each way to the hospital. I also need to pay deposits for all the doctors involved, as well as the hospital itself. My husband, who is a disabled veteran, and our kids will be supporting me during my recovery. Their help means the world to me, but this experience has been incredibly challenging both physically and mentally. Not being able to walk or stand without pain has affected every part of my life, and I’m eager to get back to spending quality time with my family and being active with my children.
Getting this surgery means I can finally live without the constant pain in my legs and start walking again—something I haven’t been able to do properly since April. Your support will help me take the first steps toward healing and returning to the life I love. Thank you for considering a donation and for helping me and my family through this difficult time.
