Help Suzanne Gregory and her gorgeous family.

Hi all,
I have set up this fundraiser to help my beautiful friend Suzanne.
In March of 2023, Suzanne was diagnosed with a large triple negative tumour. It was super aggressive, breaking through her skin and growing across her chest. By May it was over 15cm square and almost touched her chin. Suzanne started six months of chemotherapy in June with weekly doses to start. It was extremely effective. Within one dose the tumour was less than half its original size however Suzanne explains that if felt like there was a Star Wars battle under her skin! After eight doses they stopped treatment because the chemo had put her in hospital twice with infections and neuropathy, causing Suzanne to lose feeling in large parts of her feet (she still can’t feel her toes even now). They switched Suzanne to four doses of doxcyrubin which is the headline drug against breast cancer. She had allergic reactions to every dose, which is very unusual but the effect on her body was kinder overall. Suzanne has surgery coming up in December to remove the affected breast in the hope the cancer won’t come back. There may be more chemo after it and she has nine doses of immunotherapy left which has pushed her into early menopause. Life has been tough, especially this past year between her cancer battle and managing three kids as a single parent. Suzanne was hoping to go back to work this year but that’s been impossible and she has been told by doctors not to expect to work until her active treatment finishes mid 2024. Suzanne has been told “You’re in the fight of your life right now and with triple negative we have to do it right the first time, or it will just keep coming back.” Suzanne is a humble and hard working mum. She has remained so strong and positive through her experiences. Her gorgeous children are a testament to how kind and loving she is. Suzanne is always one of the first people to volunteer her time at school and I hope that our community is able to rally behind her to assist a beautiful women in a time of need. I hope that this fundraiser can provide some financial relief for this gorgeous family. With much love, Iris x
