On May 16th, my cousin Suzanna woke up to what would be everyone’s worst nightmare… her house and everything she’s built…up in flames. She was home alone, grabbed just a pair of clothes and ran out. And we’re so beyond thankful she was safe.

If you know her, you know how much her sweet baby kitties mean to her. She has spent her life rescuing and rehoming cats from all over the place and she currently had 7 cats that were her own, and if you’re a pet lover, you understand how much these little fur babies mean to us. Unfortunately due to the fire, she lost 4 of her little loved ones and 2 of them are currently being treated at Cove ER in Delaware. (the last cat was able to escape quick enough, thankfully)

If anyone’s gone through a traumatic event as this, you understand how much stress you’re under and not even sure where to start on telling people what you need. But she has asked me to spread the news that what’s the most heavy on her heart as of right now is the extremely hefty vet bills that are going to rack up to around anywhere between $5,000 to $7000!!

They still need to do all of the steps with insurance for their house & all lost items. But of course insurance will not cover vet bills.

Suzanna is a single mom, who has been such a selfless, hardworking, and giving woman. Suzanna, her son whose 19th birthday is tomorrow, and her 15 year old daughter, just lost absolutely and completely… e v e r y t h i n g. Let’s help take care of the woman who’s taken care of SO many by taking the weight of the vet bills off of her ❤️
