Help Suvi Melissa Beat Breast Cancer Pay Bills

Hello My name is Lisa Maskala Streff.and I started this fundraiser for Melissa/Suvi Brooks.

Suvi, AKA Melissa, was diagnosed w Bi lateral Invasive and DCIS Breast Cancer in February 2022.She has worked and struggled to maintain living expenses through this process, due to time off and recovery time. Melissa has been fighting through endless medical Appts. w multiple Drs., multiple invasive biopsies,screenings,tests,radiation,a huge surgery w/complications that have delayed much needed further treatment,etc...She still requires more in depth testing,and be able to access additional medical resources that are out of her limited network. She is scheduled to have another surgery, and upcoming chemotherapy. She is doing all of this on her own. Her current medical resources are limited. She has large medical bills as well as ongoing living expenses to pay. Suvi/Melissa has pushed through all of this,continued working,trying to maintain the essentials, but is now turning to the community for much needed help.

The funds raised will help support cost of living, current medical bills,and future medical bills.

This fundraiser will allow her to maintain a home to convalesce in and enable her to focus on a full recovery, building back her health, her life and strength going forward.

Each donation no matter how small,will mean so much to Melissa,as she is her only support system.

If you know Suvi/Melissa personally, you know in addition to her cancer diagnosis, her recent last 2-3 years included a move from her home of 25 years, and a business relocation, just prior to COVID, which also affected her stability,having to re adapt in many ways. Also,f you know her, you also know that she has volunteered for,and set into motion several fundraising endeavors involving fundraiser music related benefits,raising funds for several causes, including organizations,individual people,animals in need. She, now needs our help at this time.
