HI,
My name is Susy. I’m a 42-year-old single mother, and I wish to share my story with you—not just to recount the hardships I've faced, but to convey the resilience and hope that continue to guide me through the most challenging times of my life.
My journey took an unexpected turn when I had to resign from my administrative job at a school due to severe health issues. This was not an easy choice, as it meant letting go of the stability that supported my family. My health rapidly declined, leading to multiple surgeries and ongoing treatments akin to those given to cancer patients. Recovery has been a daunting process, filled with both physical pain and emotional struggles.
Despite these overwhelming circumstances, my determination as a mother never faltered. I found small ways to support my child, holding onto the belief that every effort counts. However, life’s trials didn’t stop there. A few days after making some progress, I was involved in a car accident that severely injured my right arm. This injury rendered me unable to move my arm for an extended period, significantly affecting my mobility and adding another layer of difficulty to my already fragile situation.
Since then, I've been very late with my obligations and trouble supporting my family. I have been searching for a job but I have not been able to find anything especially without proper function of my arm.
I share this with you not to evoke pity but to shed light on the strength it takes to face such battles. My story is one of perseverance, love, and the unyielding hope that better days are ahead. If my journey touches your heart, and you feel moved to help, your donation would provide critical support for my recovery and the well-being of my children.
Your kindness can be the light that guides us through this darkness. Thank you for reading my story and for considering offering support. Your compassion means more than words can express.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Susy
