The Christian Science Reading Room at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has been helping travelers from around the world find solace, peace, and spiritual refreshment since 1957. It offers a haven for those seeking deeper meaning in their lives and a fresh, more meaningful way to connect with God.

An attendant is always present to support anyone who comes in with a need, and no one is turned away who seeks spiritual help.

Rent at the airport has long been covered by donations — both large and small — from individuals and participating churches. However, in recent years, rent has been increasing by an average of 15% per year. To ensure ongoing operations and long-term financial stability, we are working to establish an endowment for the Reading Room.

We are located at SFO in Terminal 1, Departure Level, just inside Door 9.

Join us in ensuring this haven remains available to travelers in perpetuity by becoming a donor to our endowment fund.

Thank you for considering a donation.
