Hello everyone! I am fundraising for my husband, Kyle, who underwent emergency surgery for a ruptured colon. He is a three-time cancer survivor so we are not new to medical problems and medical bills. Emergency surgery occurred last Saturday. They have implanted him with a colostomy bag. It is the hope that they will potentially be able to reverse this in about 7 to 8 weeks. He will be out of work for 6 to 8 months. In the interim, we have to pay for a nurse to come 2 to 3 times a week to assist with his medical needs. His health insurance will not cover this care. We are hoping to obtain some financial assistance to get us through this period of time while he is out of work, as well as assist with medical bills and the nurses fees.
