We launched this fundraiser a few months ago and had to pause it due to a name verification issue between my maiden name on my ID and my married name on our business accounts. This triggered a review during fund transfer, and it took time to fully resolve with GoFundMe.

Everything is now verified and aligned, including adding my husband Mark to the account.

I’m Elizabeth, founder of Happy Blue Marble in Carlsbad Village.

Happy Blue Marble began with the moon.

Our first gatherings were Full Moon ceremonies in parks around Carlsbad. We carried sound bowls, blankets, candles, and hope from place to place. Eventually we added New Moon gatherings. Then sound baths. Then one on one sessions in a small space attached to our home until that space was taken back and turned into storage.

I found a tiny treatment room in our current building. At first I could only afford Mondays. Those Monday nights slowly grew. As the community showed up, I added more days when I could. Over time, this became a real studio.

In May 2025, everything shifted unexpectedly. The other tenant in our building moved out, and we had to decide quickly whether to pack up or step forward and take on the full space to keep a home for this community.

We chose to keep the light on.

My husband Mark and I are ordinary, hardworking people doing everything we can to hold this space. It costs about $5,000 each month in rent, insurance, and utilities just to stay open. In order to stabilize, we had to pause our free and donation based meditations and sound baths. That decision broke my heart.

This fundraiser is about rebuilding sustainably and intentionally.

My path to this work began long before Happy Blue Marble existed.

In my early twenties I experienced homelessness, instability, and serious health challenges. I know what it feels like to feel invisible and unsure if there is a way forward. The practices I now teach, sound, breathwork, meditation, intuitive energy work, movement, and most importantly community, helped me rebuild my life.

That lived experience is why this space exists.

When people walk into Happy Blue Marble, my goal is not to fix them. It is to give them tools and presence so they can feel safe enough to sit with themselves and remember who they already are. Healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about becoming a detective of yourself.

Taking on the full studio has been beautiful and exhausting. I teach, plan events, manage social media, answer emails, run the website, and build our future online offerings. In order to grow without burning out, we need to build stronger foundations.

Here is what your support will directly fund:

Bring Back Community Sound Baths — $3,330

This covers three months of bi weekly gatherings. Each event requires two facilitators, three hours of work, setup, facilitation, and breakdown, plus studio operating costs. Funding allows us to offer these as free or donation based so everyone can attend, no matter their situation.

Create the Mystical Garden — $2,500

We are transforming our outdoor space into a beautiful, intentional garden for ceremony, reflection, and connection. This includes plants, lighting, seating, and grounding elements to make the space feel magical and welcoming.

Website — $5,000

Redesign and rebuild our website to support memberships, scheduling, and our upcoming online school. This is the foundation for expanding beyond the studio walls.

Filming and Audio Upgrades — $2,200

Professional camera, audio equipment, mounting, and editing tools to record classes and trainings with clarity and quality so we can reach people beyond Carlsbad.

Treatment Room Soundproofing and updating the black curtain — $1,800

Add acoustic treatment and a custom sound dampening curtain to the main room deepen privacy and calm.

If we exceed our $15,555 goal, additional funds will go directly toward studio stability, including rent, insurance, and utilities. This ensures that everything we are building has a secure home.

This is not about luxury upgrades.

It is about strengthening something sacred so it can last.
