We move through life day by day not really thinking of the future and focusing solely on the present. We get caught up in a routine not appreciating the value of life and how gifted we are to have our health and well being. As a 21 year old, your only concern should be your family, friends and enjoying your youth to the fullest. Then there are times where you find yourself in a situation where you never thought you would be in. Seeing so many people live through hardships and never thinking you will ever go through a life changing experience that puts your life to a halt. After undergoing multiple tests our little sister, the light of our lives, the happiness to our home being the baby and all was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer on April 3, 2017. Never in our lives did we imagine we would find ourselves in a position where we would question Gods will. We believe that with faith and endless hope we will surpass this and help Susie fight like the warrior she is. Her character and attitude towards this life lesson is beyond admirable, we are proud of her courage and strength. Obviously we weren't prepared for this and had to act quick. Surgery was performed on April 28, 2017 and from here on we keep moving forward. Given how medical bills, medication and treatment expenses are easily adding up, the sole purpose of this fundraiser is to raise as much as we can to help her be worry free since she will be out of work for a couple of months.
