On Saturday, November 29, 2025, my dear friend Susie experienced a devastating house fire in Avon, Connecticut. The fire began in the garage and spread rapidly, leaving her home and everything she owned completely destroyed. In a matter of hours, Susie lost not only her belongings but also the place she called home. Fortunately, she and her dog Molly are OK!

Susie is a close friend who has always been there for others, and now she needs our help more than ever. The funds raised will go directly toward helping her replace essential items lost in the fire—clothing, toiletries, and basic household goods. If we are able to raise enough, we hope our donations may help Susie with a security deposit on a new place to live, giving her a fresh start after this unimaginable loss.

Any amount you can give will make a real difference for Susie as she begins to rebuild her life. Your kindness and support mean the world to her and Molly, and to all of us who care about her. Thank you for standing by Susie during this difficult time and for helping her find hope and stability again.
