Dear Castlebay Lane Elementary School Family, Old Friends, New Friends, Students and Family…
Our dear, energetic, creative, single mother, grandmother, friend, educator, artist Susie K. is in the midst of fighting a brave battle against the ravages of bladder/bone cancer.
We are asking for your help. Medical expenses, chemotherapy, radiation, and hospital stays are adding up and a teacher’s salary (even with insurance) cannot meet the demand for funding.
Any donation you feel you can give will be instrumental in easing Susie’s burden…and is sincerely appreciated by Susie and her family.
Susie has given generously and selflessly of her time and essence to the profession she loves. She has been a Kindergarten/First grade teacher for 37 of her 61 years…and is now determined to devote the entirety of her strength and will to face this new challenge. Please help if you can.
