Project: Save Sushi101 to maintain restaurant operations.
11331 Moorpark Street, North Hollywood, CA 91602
They moved from Japan in 1989 and founded Sushi 101 in 1990, bringing Japanese cuisine to this country.
Their mission is to provide an authentic dining experience by using traditional recipes with fresh ingredients. Over time, they have incorporated new dishes while maintaining the core principles of Japanese cuisine.
Since the onset of COVID-19 in 2020, the business has not regained its previous sales levels. Over the past five years, owner Toshiyuki Orino has utilized all available assets to sustain operations—closing savings accounts, mutual funds, obtaining maximum loans from life insurance, and considering policy cancellations. Additionally, the business is currently $1,30,000 in debt from two funding companies and SBA to maintain an active business bank account. Our assets are nearly depleted.
We respectfully request your assistance as we are constrained by time.
We will use this fund to maintain the restaurant's operations and secure our employees' jobs.
Funding goal: $1,30,000
