Hi Everyone,

as some of you may know,

my 3 year old pitbull mix Sushi underwent a routine spay surgery today (2/3/26) and unfortunately has had some very unexpected and unfortunate complications. When picked up from her appointment, she was clearly unwell and lethargic. We rushed her to the vet urgent care and they determined that she has obtained some internal bleeding in her abdomen. We rushed her to another Vet Hospital where she is now admitted for the next 24 hours and is being closely monitored to determine whether or not she’ll need emergency surgery.

If you know me, you know Sushi is my absolute best friend and I couldn’t imagine my life without her. She goes everywhere with me. This entire day has been nothing but stressful and anxiety inducing. Unfortunately, her vet bills are reaching up to $10k. As most of you know, these things get extremely expensive. She’s undergoing tons of testing, which adds up quick. Sushi is only 3 and has so much more life to live! Please keep her in thoughts and prayers and consider helping out in any way you can.
