Sushi is our 4-year-old Cockapoo and the heart of our family. She is the sweetest, most loving little dog who has always had a special way of bringing comfort to everyone around her. For me, Sushi is more than a pet—she is my therapy dog who helps me manage my anxiety and depression. She has been a constant source of calm and companionship through some of the hardest moments in my life. Our family also recently welcomed a new baby just four months ago, and Sushi has been right by our side during this special (and exhausting) season of life. Our older daughter Cooper absolutely adores her, and their bond brings so much joy to our home.

Recently, Sushi suddenly developed a serious spinal injury that has left her unable to walk, eat, and potty on her own. It has been heartbreaking to watch such a joyful little dog struggle. She was in perfect health, and this diagnosis came as a shock. We are doing everything we can to help her heal and recover, including urgent surgery and ongoing care.

Sushi has given our family unconditional love every single day. Now we’re hoping to give her the same love and support as she fights to recover. Any support or shares mean the world to our family and help give Sushi the best chance at healing.
