Once-in-a-Lifetime Chance to Study Abroad: Journeys of Paul

Hi, my name is Susannah Austin, and I have been a Christian school teacher since 1979. Teaching the Bible has been more than a career for me—it has been a calling and a lifelong passion.

I have been given an incredible opportunity to participate in a study-abroad experience tracing the Journeys of Paul through Italy, Greece, and Turkey, taking place from September 25 through October 7, 2026. This trip would allow me to walk the very places I have taught about for decades—seeing Scripture come alive in a way no textbook ever could.

This experience would undoubtedly transform my Bible lessons, allowing me to bring history, geography, culture, and faith together in a powerful, tangible way. My hope is that what I learn and experience will touch my students’ hearts and deepen their understanding of Scripture in ways I have not been able to do before.

Trip Cost & Financial Need

The total cost of the trip is $7,895, which includes:

• All travel

• Housing

• Meals

• Tips and program expenses

The payment schedule is as follows:

• $300 deposit

• $1,500 due by April 28, 2026

• $6,095 due by June 23, 2026

As a lifelong educator, this cost is more than I can manage on my own. I am humbly asking for your help to make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible.
