Help Susan to Get Back on her Feet & Heal

Donation protected
My intention in reaching out to you, is to give you an opportunity to support me at this time of need. I have struggled with being able to do this, as asking for support in this way has been challenging for me. After the events of the past few months, I kept hearing inside that it is time, to ask for support so I can get my life back on track.  I have had multiple events in various areas of my life that have made it a difficult time for me.

1)  Internal Health Issues- Over the past 5 years I have been working on healing some autoimmune issues and getting my body working properly. The cost of doctor’s appointments and supplements combined with only being able to physically work part time, has resulted in limited income for basic daily expenses such as food and rent.  This past October my doctor and I were pleased,  as we were getting to the bottom of some life long health issues. This month I am experiencing a flare up. I continue to need to see my doctor every month or two and pay for my medicines and supplements.

2) Knee Injury- This past October,  I injured my left knee (patellofemoral lateral displacement) and could not walk much at all for a few weeks and was not able to work.  The cost of physiatrist doctor’s appointments, chiropractor, MRI, cortisone shot, medications, knee braces, and physical therapy increased my expenses, and limited my ability to work. I have a high deductible insurance plan and my expenses did not reach the deductible, especially since my injury occurred toward the end of the year when my deductible resets. I need continued rehabilitation services so that I can walk for more than short distances around the house.

3)  Memorial Travel Expenses- On December 15, My dad passed away and I needed to fly back from CO to CT, for his memorial services. The cost of airfare back to the east coast was very costly, as it needed to be done on short notice, and it was during holiday travel time. Due to the knee pain and needing a wheelchair, I would not have been traveling for any other reason. Expenses include airline travel, parking, car rental, and Duke’s doggie care, and more time away from work.

4)  Lost Business Income- As far as my work, I have only been able to work part time over the past few years, and not at all when I injured my knee and during my dad’s passing. I earn most of my income working with low income special needs children birth to 3. I found out this month, that due to the recent government funding cuts and changes in policy, I will no longer be able to continue in this line of work and am focusing on transforming my business into full time coaching & mediation within the next few months. As a result, I need resources to participate in training and education. I want to feel much better so I can go back to my volunteer services as well as help others to transform their lives, as I thrive in my business.

AND, My dog Dukers is having some challenges walking upstairs at times and he needs me to be able to walk him again soon!

Overall EXPENSES-

Internal Health Issues- minimum of $40K (over past 5 years)
Knee Injury- $6,285 and still rehabilitating
Memorial Travel Expenses- $4,850
Lost Business Income- minimum of $10,000

Overall Total - $61,135

As a result I have created debt and need to pay back loans and credit cards.  I need to start paying off credit cards as soon as possible and pay the next large sum by 3/22/19.

I ask you to check inside and if it resonates with you to support me in any way, even $5 or $10 helps and means so much to me.  If it does not feel right to support me at this time, financially, that is totally OK and there may be other ways you can contribute, if you choose. I ask that you share this with anyone who you think my be interested or looking for someone to donate to. (Your donation may be tax deductible).

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this message.  I send many blessings and my loving to you all!

God Bless Us All!!
