Help Susan Sing Again!
My name is Kathy Roche-Zujko. My dear friend and singing buddy, Susan, has had some terrible luck. She is an amazing operatic soprano, and has a heart the size of Texas. She was singing all over the country and enjoying a successful career, when a car accident and a permanent spinal injury forced her into early retirement. She has been living in the Skagit Valley for a few years now, sharing her talent with small vocal groups, and being paid only in the love and applause of grateful audiences. In mid-January, she was rendered homeless when a devastating fire swept through the Burlington apartment of her boyfriend, Steve. They barely escaped with the clothes on their backs. While the recordings and memorabilia of her career cannot be replaced, I would love to be able to raise enough to furnish her with first, last, and deposit for an apartment plus enough to replace her recording equipment. The goal is $10,000. If you've been lucky enough to hear Susan sing, or if you appreciate the joy you have received from glorious music, please HELP SUSAN SING AGAIN by putting a roof over her head.
