Im an owner of two senior horses and must now protect them! I’ve been battling long Covid for two years, and until three months ago, I was mostly confined to bed. I'm still unable to work, and this has made it difficult to keep up with the costs of caring for my two senior horses, who mean the world to me. They've been at the same wonderful barn for eight years, always cared for by good people and fed with quality hay. I've always paid their board on time, but now I've fallen behind for the April and May and likely June board fee.

I had a relapse two months ago, which made things even harder.

My horses are older and I'm committed to caring for them for the rest of their lives. I won't sell them, because I've seen what can happen to horses whose owners can't keep them. They deserve to stay in their safe, loving home, and I want to make sure they're protected while I focus on my recovery.
