Help Susan Save Her Cat Sanctuary

Tax deductible
My name is Susan Smith and I am trying to raise funds to save Susan’s Cat Sanctuary of the Southern Tier. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue in which we provide foster care, adoptions, TNR (Trap Neuter Return), and provide a safe haven for homeless, abandoned, and abused cats & kittens.

In the quest of continuing our mission to provide a safe haven, a building was purchased to give immediate refuge for many abandoned cats and kittens. We purchased our building in 2022 and have been slowly working to expand this space. The vision has always been to grow this space to continue providing assistance to Greenwood and the surrounding areas.

Earlier this year, a contractor was hired to complete foundation work. Unfortunately, the work that was contracted for a set price did not come to fruition and we have been left with an unsafe building. Our sanctuary currently housing many cats and kittens is now in jeopardy. We are now in a position that another contractor had to be hired to not only fix the damage that was done, but also to repair the initial contracted work. The cost to make the building safe again and save the sanctuary has more than tripled what was originally anticipated. This picture is not what the original foundation was, this is what the original contractor left us with after tearing it apart.

Since we are a non-profit 501(c)(3), all donations qualify as a charitable contribution for tax purposes.

No donation is too small and every donation is hugely appreciated.

No cat shall ever have to suffer again.
