Help Susan Rockey on her road to recovery!

Susan is known by many around Pictou County from her decades long tenure at House of Children Day Care in Abercrombie where she remained until it closed in 2020. After the daycare's closure and with the beginning of the COVID lock-downs, we have been blessed to have Susan caring for our two sons, Ellis and Lawson, while we worked.
Susan was in a car accident April 13th on her way home from our house after work when a car veered into her lane, hitting her head on. Immediately afterwards another car hit her from behind. As a result, her C2 vertebrae were broken in her neck and she has been in the hospital ever since.
Her husband Kenny and daughter Hannah have been by her side, but she has a long road to recovery and needs our help. Eventually bills will need to be paid, including expenses like travelling to other hospitals. While Kenny and Hannah continue to support Susan and be with her in the hospital, they will need to miss work while the bills add up.
For those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting Susan, she has a beautiful soul and is one of the most caring people you will meet, with a sense of humor that rivals no other. She has put a lot of love out into the world, and hopefully some of that love will make it back to her and her family during these trying times.
