Hi, my name is Jay. Susan and I have been the best of friends since we were 6 and 7 years old. She has been by my side through everything. The recent apartment fire in Verdun on 17 March 2025, has left her, her partner Nick, and their cat Shadow with almost nothing. It will be months before they can get any help from insurance. They will need to start over from scratch - no furniture is left, no electronics, no clothing, no appliances, no more beloved home.
