My name is Cory Morgan, and I’m raising funds for my amazing mother, Susan Morgan. Recently, our world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer (HR+ HER2-Negative).
The cancer has spread to multiple bones—including her shoulder (which has already fractured), spine, femur, ribs, and pelvis—as well as to lymph nodes in her chest and under her arm.
Starting tomorrow, she will begin lifelong hormone endocrine therapy (chemotherapy) to help slow the progression of the disease. She will also undergo monthly bone-strengthening infusions to reduce the risk of future fractures and protect her stability.
On Thursday, she is scheduled to begin targeted radiation therapy, focusing on the most critical areas to help manage pain and preserve mobility.
At this stage, the cancer is not considered curable. Our family’s fight is now about slowing its spread, protecting her quality of life, and giving her as much time, comfort, and strength as possible.

Why We Need Your Help
Insurance only covers part of the enormous costs that come with advanced cancer care. We are raising funds to help cover the out-of-pocket expenses—both now and in the years ahead—including treatments, medications, and supportive care that will give my mom the best chance to keep fighting.
Here’s how your donations will directly help:
• Chemotherapy & Endocrine Therapy: $5,000–$10,000 per month
• Bone-Strengthening Infusions (Zometa, Xgeva, etc.): $1,000–$2,500 per month
• Radiation Therapy: $10,000–$50,000 total
• Scans, Labs, and Oncology Visits: $1,000–$3,000 per month
• Prescription Medications & Supportive Drugs: $500–$1,500 per month
• Travel to Appointments (gas, parking, lodging if needed): $200–$500 per month
• Possible Surgery to repair her fractured shoulder
Every single donation—no matter the size—will make a real difference in her care.

About Susan
To many in the poker community, she’s known as “sfmorgan” or more lovingly as “Momma Bread.” She has always been a light—encouraging, supportive, and kind-hearted to everyone she meets. Now it’s our turn to surround her with the same love she’s given to so many.
To me and my family, she is simply Mom—the heart of our family. She is strong, selfless, and endlessly giving. And even in the face of this devastating diagnosis, she continues to inspire us every day with her courage.
