UPDATE: Susan wants to say, "thank you for all the love, prayers, and support she and her family has received through this life-altering Cancer diagnosis, surgeries, and continued treatments." Susan was diagnosed with Stage 3c ovarian cancer in January. Since that time, she has had 3 rounds (3 treatments each) of chemotherapy & finally has had her surgery. The doc said he got everything that was was left with the complete hysterectomy, lymph nodes, no bowel resection needed, and removed a deadened mass behind the uterus which allowed him to remove a fatty tissue mass, also. She is feeling pretty sore still but is getting better daily. She still has a ways to go with 3-4 full rounds of chemo after her 2 week post-surgical mark. That is to ensure there are no hidden micro-sized cancer cells. The Pathology reports will be back to the doctor's office within 10 days. Due to the surgical recovery time and chemo treatments she is still unable to work. Her office visit co-pay is $50 each visit, with 3 visits per week, plus co-insurance. This does not include her surgical bills that are beginning to come in from her first surgery (this last surgery will have bills within the next couple of months).
