HELP MY SISTER, SUSAN, HEAL FROM LIFE-THREATENING ANEURYSMS

My sister Susan has always been the kind of person to reach out to those in need. She’s the first to lend a hand, offer encouragement, or drop everything to be there for someone else. Now, she’s the one who needs help.

Susan has been diagnosed with 2 aortic aneurysms- one is dangerously large and the second one is about half the size of the first. Multiple aortic aneurysms pose a greater threat than a single aneurysm due to the increased risk of rupture and other complications. Timely diagnosis, close monitoring and appropriate treatment are crucial. Her doctor has told her she cannot work or be under any stress until she has surgery because even simple activities could put her at serious risk. (Surgery is scheduled for 6/30 but they are trying to get her in sooner)

This hits close to home for our family- we lost our father to the same condition the day after his 60th birthday. Now Susan is facing that same danger. But we are trusting God (Jehovah Rapha) and doing everything we can to keep her safe and strong.

And there’s even more reason to fight! Susan is about to become a grandmother for the very first time. She dreams of holding her grandson in her arms, of being present for this new chapter of life. But right now she needs time, rest, and peace of mind to get there.

Not being able to work is a heavy burden. We’re raising funds to help cover her basic living expenses-rent, groceries, utilities and medical costs-so she can focus fully on healing.
