My sister, Susan Treadgold, a devoted single mother to two high schoolers — Rex and Cora — has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer, an aggressive form of breast cancer that has already spread to multiple lymph nodes and is growing quickly.
She begins intensive chemotherapy in the coming days.
As a self-employed consultant, if she cannot work, she will be unable to provide for herself and her family. Treatment and recovery will keep her out of work for many months.
We are raising $140,000 to help cover:
$75,000 – Aggressive chemotherapy and advanced cancer treatment, including tumor-targeted therapies and potential out-of-state care not covered by insurance
$40,000 – Rent and essential living expenses during treatment and recovery
$15,000 – Insurance premiums, medications, and out-of-pocket medical costs
$10,000 – Childcare, transportation, and recovery support
This fund will allow Susan to focus fully on fighting this disease — and on being present for Rex and Cora — without the added burden of financial uncertainty.
If you’re able to contribute, we will be deeply grateful. If not, please consider sharing this page.
Thank you for standing with Susan and her children during this fight.
