Help Susan Cover Ua's End of Life Costs

Hello Everyone,

I am writing today in order to raise funds to cover end of life costs for potentially sweetest and most loving black cat that ever was.

Meet Ua, born somewhere between 2011 and 2012. He was rescued from a storm drain and put up for adoption, luckily I was the one he chose to go home with. To my first apartment and through many many life changes. He lost his teeth due to health issues and become the cutest drooling blob on the block. Always happy to give hugs and eat ham. He gave everything he could to myself and my continually changing family, and we gave it right back to him. Entire parts of the furniture for him to lay on? Check. Special blankets for him to drool on? Check. Continuing health care to address follow ups from the teeth? Check.

Unfortunately the checklist ran out. Since February of 2024, I have been unemployed and working my best to find something to maintain the house and status quo for humans and animals. On June 19th, we discovered Ua was having issues with digestion. The tests came back indicating a definite need for surgery but an unclear idea of his quality of life. Normally, I'd have backed up the Brinks truck of to see what was possible. Given the economic circumstances and doctors advice though, we had to make the difficult decision to give Ua the best time we could without risking his wellbeing further, and on the 21st, we said goodbye.

I'm a planner by nature but even my best laid plans can't counter this surprise cost right now. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, and at the very least thank you for your time reading this.
