Greetings, everyone!

Most of you know by now that Susan and Tom are in a precarious position. Susan has taken a leave of absence from her job to be with and care for Tom.  There is a caretaker who comes most days to help Susan and Tom. It is very expensive. Susan and Tom also have the added expenses of medical equipment that insurance doesn’t deem necessary.  For example, Susan needs to get an electronic conversion for the Hoyer Lift to help lift Tom in and out of  bed, into his wheelchair, and in/out of a shower chair.  It’s a very manual and tiring process to hand pump the Lift as well as very jerky for Tom.   Therefore, I told Susan that we could help raise money for some of these expenses by creating a GoFundMe account. Her goal is to get necessary equipment so Tom is comfortable and she or the caretaker don’t hurt themselves when helping Tom.  I know that you all have big hearts, and I’m hoping that we can raise some money to help them.
