My dear half-sister Susan and her husband Sam Monaghan, lifelong members of the Cambridge MD community, lost their home suddenly in a fast-moving fire May 16th. Sam and Eli (their son) barely made it out. They have lost everything, including a beloved dog.

While they do have homeowners insurance, there is no way for it to cover all the memories, photos, heirlooms, and special times they shared in the loving home they designed and built 23 years ago.
