I am starting this fundraiser because my living situation has become unsafe and unmanageable. The RV I lived in was falling apart, and as I was packing to move, I discovered black mold. This exposure put me in the hospital with asthma, pneumonitis, and bronchial spasms. It was a frightening experience, and I realized I needed to make a change for my health and well-being. I am moving to Texas for a better quality of life and will be staying with a friend until I am approved for subsidized housing. My little dog, who is my emotional support animal, will be with me every step of the way. He helps tremendously with the depression and anxiety I experience as a domestic violence survivor.

The funds raised will help me cover moving costs, food until my SNAP benefits take effect, and replace bedding that was ruined by the black mold. I also need medication to fight the lung infections, a CPAP machine, and other medical devices to support my recovery. Starting over is overwhelming, especially since I am on SSI and will be rebuilding from scratch.

I am reaching out for help because I want to become independent again and create a safe, stable home for myself and my dog. Any support you can give would mean the world to us.
