Susan fell ill with the flu earlier this week and it quickly progressed into really bad pneumonia. The pneumonia has led to multiple other complications unfortunately. She was hospitalized and placed on a ventilator on Thursday 2/13/25 in Chillicothe, OH where she was working that day and then transported to OSU's hospital later that night. She is showing some slight areas of improvement, and the doctors are cautiously optimistic at each turn. This will be a long road to recovery for her. We know she is in great hands with the doctors and nurses at OSU. Our focus is making sure her daughter Lily, a senior at Westerville South High School, and her son Logan, a college student at OSU, have everything they need emotionally, physically, AND financially right now. There are so many unknowns at the moment, but we want to make sure the things that are within our control are taken care of. As many of you know, Ray, Susan's ex-husband and father to their two kids, lives and works in Cleveland. While it is only an hour and a half away and logistics will be one of the least complicated to navigate, it is not an easy feat to manage all of Susan and Lily's home expenses in Columbus alongside our own here in Cleveland. This is where our villages come in. I am asking the big ask of the villages of Susan, Ray, and mine to please consider making a donation to help pay for the necessities of rent, utilities, and groceries for Susan and Lily's home while we navigate what could be weeks to months of getting Susan back on her feet. Anything left over will go directly to help pay for the medical bills that are adding up quickly and will continue to add up throughout this journey. We are incredibly thankful for any donations, love, and prayers at this time for Susan.❤️ Thank you
