Help Survivors of Genocide Against Tutsi in Rwanda
Donation protected
As we are approaching 100 days of commemoration for the genocide against the Tutsi, survivors are still facing challenges. In order to overcome this difficult time, IBUKA is relaunching its “Survivors in Solidarity” campaign and ask you to support genocide survivors at this time of international turmoil when so many around the world are facing grief and challenging times.
Having lived through the genocide, survivors also have a great deal to share in terms of resilience and community mobilization when faced with trauma, isolation, and loss. But we cannot talk about peace when people are lacking basic resources.
We are asking you to donate money to pay for food and basic supplies for the most vulnerable survivors in Rwanda. Meeting these needs means they can continue their vital genocide education work, promoting peace and remembrance, during the commemoration period.
Thank you.
