Help Surprise Get the Medical Care She Needs

Hi, my name is Sandra, and I’m reaching out because my sweet kitty, Surprise, needs our help. I rescued her from the streets a year and a half ago, and from the very first moment, she stole my heart. When she arrived, her back legs were a little crooked, but she walked and played like a champ, so we thought it was just her quirk.

About six months ago, Surprise fainted for the first time. She came to quickly, but it scared me to my core. Yesterday, things got worse: she fainted again, her legs went completely limp, and she couldn’t walk at all. We rushed her to the emergency room, but even after several exams, the doctors don’t yet know what’s causing it.

Surprise is still eating, drinking, and cuddly as ever—but seeing her weak and frail breaks my heart. The doctors suspect it might be because her brain isn’t getting enough oxygen during these episodes, but we need more tests and treatments to be sure.

I’ve taken in many kitties over the years, and each one has taught me about resilience, love, and hope. Surprise deserves every bit of care we can give her, and I want to make sure she has the best chance at a happy, healthy life.
