Help Suri Heal: Support Her Mental Health Journey
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Suri (Surkeinya Nongmaithem). I’m currently admitted to Sunshine Mental Hospital for treatment of anxiety and depression. It’s been one of the most difficult periods of my life—but I am committed to getting better, not just for myself, but for my young son and my dogs, who depend on me every single day.
Unfortunately, my paid sick leave is over, and I am now on unpaid leave while undergoing compulsory treatment. Without any income, the bills are piling up, and that financial pressure is only making my mental health worse.
I’m doing everything I can to stay strong—to fight through this darkness and rebuild my self-confidence—but it’s hard to focus on healing when I’m so stressed about money and survival.
This is why I’m reaching out, not out of selfishness, but out of need. If you can spare even a small amount, it would help lift the burden just enough so I can focus on recovery. Every little contribution will make a huge difference for me and my little family.
I promise that once I’m back on my feet, I will pay this kindness forward—because I know how much it means when someone helps you when you’re down.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
