On Monday morning Nov 10th, our world changed without warning. Chris came home with numbness in his toes. By that evening, he had already lost the ability to walk. By Tuesday evening Nov 11th , he could no longer feel anything from the belly button down.

Doctors have run countless tests - including MRIs, bloodwork, and a spinal tap - but so far, every test has come back negative. With no answers yet, we have no idea how long Chris will remain in the hospital or what his recovery will look like.

We recently purchased our first home, and Chris is our sole income provider. I have just started working to help keep food on the table, but with him hospitalized and unable to work, we are facing a difficult and uncertain road. Between medical bills, our regular expenses, and the holidays approaching, the stress is overwhelming. Our daughter is struggling to understand why her dad can’t come home, and we are doing our best to stay strong for her.
