Help Asking for positive vibes and prayers for Rob

Hello everyone,

I miss them so much and I can't help but worry about how they're doing.

We are devastated to learn Rob has been diagnosed with type b non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. It's all over his body and in his brain. He was transferred to an amazing cancer hospital in Lisbon to begin aggressive chemotherapy. We don't have a prognosis yet but he will need to undergo extensive medical treatment in the coming months – both chemotherapy and radiation therapy. We remain hopeful he will beat this terrible cancer.

My brother is such a smart and driven person. He's the type of person who knows exactly what he wants in life and won't wait around for it to happen. Instead, he goes out there and grabs it with both hands. I have always admired his work ethic and his determination to succeed in everything he does.

I miss their laughter, their hugs, and the warmth of their home. I miss watching Makai grow up and seeing the joy in Rob and Tracey's eyes as they raise their son. I want nothing more than to be with them and hold them close.

So, Rob, if you're reading this, please know how much I love you and miss you. You and your family are always on my mind, and I am here for you, no matter what. Keep pushing stay STRONG and never give up! I believe in you, you will beat this!

Rob and Tracey are ex-pats who have dedicated their lives to traveling the world and raising their son in a way that they believe will give him the best life possible. They believe that exposing him to different cultures and ways of life will help him become a more open-minded and well-rounded little man.

Their journey has taken them to many different countries over the years, from Europe to South America, and they have experienced so much along the way. They have faced many challenges, from language barriers to finding quality education for their son. But they have never given up on their dream of providing their son with a unique and enriching upbringing.

Unfortunately with Rob being ill, some of the challenges for Tracey and Mak (aside from constant worrying) will be making ends meet with added costs due to Rob's condition and balancing education for Mak. Rob and Tracey are true partners in work and raising and educating Makai. His absence due to this terrible illness will be even more difficult as they are such a close family and share so many responsibilities and rely on each other so much.

As Rob's sister, I am deeply concerned about his health and the family's financial burden. I know they are doing everything they can to keep their heads above water, but I also know that they need help.

That's why I'm starting this GoFundMe page to raise funds to support my brother, and his family, for the battle that lies ahead.

For the last year, they have enjoyed a quiet life in Almeda – a small community just outside Lisbon, Portugal.

Rob, Tracey, and Makai have already experienced so much on their journey, but they still have so much more to see and learn. They are not willing to give up on their dreams, despite the challenges they face. They believe in living life to the fullest and exposing their son to all the wonders the world has to offer.

As someone who loves and admires my brother and his family, I have seen firsthand the impact that their journey has had on their lives. They have created a beautiful life for themselves and their son, full of adventure, learning, and growth. But they can't do it alone.

I believe that there are people out there who share their values and understand the challenges they face. People who see the beauty in living life on your own terms, even if it's not the easiest path. People who believe that the best things in life are the experiences we have and the people we share them with.
