My name is Veronica (Yang) Toledo, and I am the full-time guardian of my three younger siblings.

The past several weeks have been some of the most difficult times our family has ever faced. I spent countless days and nights by my mother's side while she fought in the ICU. With very heavy hearts, we recently said goodbye to our beloved mother.

Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported us during my mom's hospitalization. Whether you visited, called, sent messages, prayed for her recovery, donated, or simply kept our family in your thoughts, your love and support carried us through some of the darkest days of our lives. We will never forget the kindness that you all have shown to us.

As we now face life without our mother, we are reaching out for additional support. In addition to the overwhelming grief of losing her, we are facing funeral expenses, along with the ongoing costs of rent, utilities, food and caring for my younger siblings.

My mother's service will be held this Sunday, and we are committed to honoring her life and memory with the love and dignity she deserves.
