Hi everyone, my name is Jing, I'm seeking help in paying my mother's medical bills while she's going through angioplasty and stenting treatment for her atherosclerosis.

On August 10th my mother, Yan Zhou, had her ring finger and pinky on her left hand turn purple, accompanied with intense pain. After rushing to the hospital and seeing many doctors who were stumped by her condition, she was eventually diagnosed with severe hypertension and atherosclerosis. Her subclavian artery on her left side is almost completely clogged up. The doctors are currently trying to figure out if she also has a rare genetic disease called Takayasu Arteritis, which primarily impacts aorta and causes inflammation in her arteries. Her kidneys and eyes also sustained some trauma from her hypertension. She was hospitalized for several days and is still seeing doctors daily to determine the full extent of her illness.

She is retired and uninsured, living in China with her best friend who's also a retiree while I'm currently living in the US earning a sole income, sometimes I help paying her daily bills and rent, I'm incredibly grateful for her friend who's paying off her treatment bills with her credit card but it's quickly racking up and her credit limit is about to max out. I have been delving into my own savings, but as we learn more about the full extent of the required treatment for my mother, I fear my funds will soon be insufficient. I'm also very concerned that we may find ourselves in a situation where surgery might be denied, since the medical system in China requires patients to pay the procedure in full upfront.
