Help support Xavier's Birthday Dream: A path to sucess

My name is Haley, and I’m a mother asking for something I wish I could give on my own.

My son Xavier is turning 18 — and while most teens are dreaming about parties, freedom, and new beginnings, Xavier has been living a different kind of reality.

He’s spent his teenage years stepping up in ways no young man should ever have to, carrying more weight than most grown men. While other kids were learning how to drive or thinking about prom, my son was learning how to manage prescriptions, stretch a grocery budget, and take care of his little brother — and me. I’m disabled, and without Xavier, our world would fall apart. He’s been my legs, my right hand, and my anchor when the days got dark.

This young man cooks, cleans, shops, helps me get to appointments, helps with his younger brother’s schoolwork, and still shows up to his part-time job — washing dishes until late, saving every penny. He doesn't complain. He doesn’t ask for anything. And that’s exactly why I want to do this for him.

Xavier got accepted into a culinary course at Job Corp. in Makawao, Hawaii and its 45 minutes from where we live. He’s worked so hard to chase this dream — saving up and making payments on a used car so he can get himself to school. He did this all on his own. But right now, that car still isn’t paid off, still isn’t registered. It’s not insured. It’s not legal. And school is starting soon.

I want to give him the one thing he’d never ask for: a little help.

This campaign is my birthday gift to him. My wish as his mother. The goal is to:

Pay off the balance on Xavier’s car

Get it fully registered and insured

Help him start school with one less mountain to climb

We’re trying to raise $3,000 to cover it all. Every single dollar will go straight to making this car road-ready and reliable, so he can focus on his future, not his transportation.

Xavier has already proven he’s got the heart and hustle to make it. He’s shown up for us every day without fail. I just want to show up for him this time. I want him to know that people see him, believe in him, and want to help him rise.
