If you’ve ever worked at CompNow, you’ve probably had a warm chat and a laugh with Wit in the kitchen.  She’s probably remembered your birthday and followed up asking how something went in your life and shown care and love toward you & everyone she comes in contact with.  She is warm and kind and she has breast cancer.

Cancer is a huge challenge, physically, emotionally and financially.  As her friends and coworkers it is easy to feel helpless because there is so much out of our control.

But something that we can do to assist (other than love & support) is to provide some financial support.  When you have some finances you have options and when you have options it alleviates a little bit of the stress of what is already an incredibly stressful time.

I just thought as a community if we each gave a little, we could make a huge difference to our friend who is about to embark on a really scary and overwhelming journey.  We get to be part of the support network that will help her get through to the other side and into recovery and healing.
