We are reaching out to ask for your support for Wirral Animal Samaritans, a vital local community that rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes animals in need. Their work is entirely dependant on donations, and right now they urgently need help to cover the rising costs of veterinary bills, food, shelter, and medical care.
Founded 5 years ago by Corrie Jane Plumpton, Wirral Animal Samaritans began with a small team of dedicated wildlife rehabilitators and has since grown into an extraordinary network of carers. They now provide 24/7 assistance to injured wildlife, domestic pets, and even exotic animals. Their diligent efforts mean that countless animals who would otherwise be lost are given a second chance at life.
Just last week, Corrie and her team responded to a call about a cat that had been hit by a car and taken refuge in a derelict house. Using specialist equipment, they searched tirelessly for two days before managing to rescue her. Thanks to their efforts, she is now recovering at a veterinary centre and will soon either be reunited with her owner or find a new loving home. Without their intervention, this animal would almost certainly not have survived.
At The Prestige Group, we’ve already contributed by constructing and donating a 20-pen cat sanctuary located at our site. This facility now plays a crucial role in temporarily housing and rehabilitating cats until they are ready for adoption. But the reality is simple: without ongoing financial support from the wider community, including partners like you, Wirral Animal Samaritans cannot continue their life-saving work.
Your contribution – big or small – will directly fund emergency rescues, medical treatment, food, and safe shelter for vulnerable animals. Together, we can ensure this incredible team has the resources they need to carry on saving lives every single day.
Thank you for considering this urgent appeal. With your help, we can make a real difference to the lives of animals who desperately need it.
