One of the nicest medics you could know, Willie Birden has been working on Private ambulances in Chicago for almost 31 years. His dear wife Carolyn Kennedy-Birden (RN for approx 8 years at Mt Sinai ER, 5 years at Stroger ER) was diagnosed with a tumor in 2016 and could not continue to work. Willie had been working every spare moment to help with bills. Carolyn had Brain surgery in 2016 as the Tumor returned and then had a stroke in 2018. Willie has been on FMLA and working very few hours as a medic as he has been dedicating his time to help with Carolyn's rehab. Now things have become financially very difficult as Willie has not been able to work full time for approximately 10 months.
